Until I found out who the author of Land of the Dead was, I didn't know that this song was referencing a horror novel writer lol, obviously George Romero.

Did George Romero write novels too. Last i checked he was a zombie horror director. The song references Night of the living dead, Dawn of the dead, Day of the dead, and then land of the dead. This can be found in the line that says
"night turns to dawn and dawn into day, and the land overflows with the dead
i thought that was pretty sweet

Oops, I meant most Hollywood based films that are fictional are derived from popular novels, historical event films are semi non fiction in story line.
