He was like Robert Plant this guy. 3 years of having a mind blowing voice, then it slowly faded till at the end it all he could sing was in a low register with limited range. Burning love has got to be one of Elvis worst vocals ever. You can actually hear him gasping for breath, but from 1955 to 58 he was unbelievable, nobody could touch him in the singing dept not even Orbison.
