Swinginkatz, eternal thanks!! I was a kid in the 80's and had this jaw-dropping performance on VHS, and wore it out!! Women like Connie, Helen Forrest, Kay Starr can never be forgotten, or replaced. Bless them all, and you for keeping their magic alive. DD

It is really freaky to see Connie's family here. I was on PBS tonight and have watched and listened to many recordings since. PBS has been on Mute since i saw her. SHE IS AWESOME! I am so glad i found her...and sorry everyone but I had to post her to my Face book

I backed her several times in Tampa in a big band on bari sax. She made a big deal that she had to share the stage with another woman,jokingly of course! She was truly nice and will be missed.
