EnKore Answers: Mixing Medium

Wow, SNOW really dumped! As most know, Im renovating, and adding a space so that I can have a small Makeup Room/Video Studio. So its a wreck, and all my makeup and stuff are in plastic crates. Once its completed, Ill be Oh so much happier! So for the mean time, I filmed some FAQs that I will post every now and then, in the interim.

There are 6 videos in this series that will be posted every day or so. And hopefully I finish my space by the end of the month - thats the goal, at least :)

Thanks for all your awesome tips & tricks & cool vids! They are so useful! =D You definetly have another subscriber!! I was wondering...will using a mixing medium ruin eyeshadow? That's what one of the girls at M.A.C.told me when I went to buy fix+ b/c it changes the eyeshadow i dont know chemicals orwhatev? but I saw your vid on making MM so im gonna try and do that...but would it ruin the eyeshadow? Is it something to use only on loose pigment in which you can separate some from the whole pot?

well you use mixing medium to dampen the brush, not on the eyeshadow.

many people use foundations to neutralize their lips mor ethat nude-lip look. Its ideal to use something cream based.

No, clear nail polish is only to mix colored pigments with it to create a nail polish of the color of the pigment! NEVER use clear polish on your lids!!!!!!!

i tried this homemade mixing medium but its not working why.. im doing 1 part glycerin and 3 parts water.. and it looks like shit... why it just looks like some guys cemen or sperm
