2:30 CHILD MOLESTATION

Here's the deal. Some is CGI and some is an animatronic model. In my opinion the CGI looks incredible, considering this is almost 20 years old.

@luckyDancer100 I think ILM introduced the digital age of special effects. Jurassic Park and Terminator 2 were the 1st films ILM incorporated digital effects. Then began the digital revolution...:)

@IndividualParties it was plexiglass, not glass

T-Rex - "I eat lawyers for breakfast, lunch, and dinner."

If this exact movie came out today, we would all be flabbergasted and in awe at its special effects. It wouldn't seem to be missing anything. The CGI is that good.

@Divinehearts There is no stop motion at all.

@Divinehearts There's no stop motion in Jurassic Park at all. It's a combination of CGI and animatronic robots/puppets. They did make stop motion models of the dinosaurs which were animated by hand, but the movements were converted into the computer and transferred onto the CG dino models. This movie literally revolutionised CG we know today. I also think the Rex in JP looks better than the V-Rex in King Kong 2005. Just saying. The dinos in general look better in this movie than in KK too.
why do they special effects look better here than now?
