Why do the things you make seem so simple yet so godlike...
Love the design on this

If you play around with your PC enough pretty soon you end up taking all the guts out to test different components. Also extreme benching requires Liquid Nitrogen, Dry Ice or perhaps Phase Chill so trying to do anything like that inside a case is impossible. And there are a small but growing number of PC enthusiasts that like looking at the hardware...the case is not that interesting to them...so displaying the good stuff front and center is what a tech station does for them.

So maybe I'm just a big ole noob, but what exactly is a techstation? I've heard the term before but not aware of its meaning or use. Look cool though.
Me likes the fancy "air gaps"

It's a proto for a more involved designthat has much better air flow with "floating" shelfs and side panels that are further removed. Still the same footprint...just more technical and expensive to build. It'll be coming up in a few weeks.

that harddrive cage is pretty interesting :)

It's from a Lian Li V2000. The Hard Drives hang from it in my application. If the case was going to be lugged around it might be better to use both sides of the Hard Drive caddy and some more aluminum angle to make sure they dont slap around. But for it's intended purpose (sitting on a desk) it'll work great.
