I've always liked the original version of "Midnight train...", so I was curious what the Indigo Girls would do with it - and the result is amazing. Thanks for posting!

I actually like all Amy and Emily's covers. Most of them more than the originals. Two very very talented ladies! This is one of my very faves!

@Parmenides320 ...no way is Ani on that track. It's Emily, Amy and Gail switching off on leads.
-
@dajmiller That's definitely not Ani DiFranco. It doesn't sound remotely like her. I can hear the indigo girls for sure and there's a third voice but that voice remains a mystery to me, but I've always loved it. Wish I knew.

That was frigging terrible.

@dajmiller This live version is certainly NOT sung by Ani Franco, nor it backed by her. I should know, I have the album.
-
This is Ani Difranco, who was orignially with the Indigo Girls, saw them in Little 5 points, Atlanta....if you like this try More than a Pretty Girl.....
-
@dajmiller The singer is Gail Ann Dorsey.
-
Emily should do more soul, she has the voice

@bluesman32783 why were u paying attention to the keyboard for i was tlking bout the dual guitar parts and im sorry u likie dragon force to me they r pretty mediocre at best. through the fire and flames was just a complete fluke they had created. and how can u say that none of the people i said have no skill when they r metal pioneers. u obviously have no idea wat u r listenin to
This song is being sung here by Ani DiFranco -- not by the Indigo Girls (who back her up).

@dajmiller I initially posted this as Indigo Girls with Ani DiFranco and several people said NO! It's NOT Ani DiFranco. Unfortunately the CD I ripped the song from (1200 Curfews) was lost so I couldn't check the liner notes. Finally found what I thought were liner notes and posted them as the description. Doesn't mention Ani DiFranco, which is who I initially thought it was also. I don't know. Trying to give proper credit but without the CD it's hard to do.

Soulful, beautiful.
It'd be great to know the credits for the other singers as well if possible.

Searched the Internet for the liner notes and have found nothing. My CD is loooong gone. Musta loaned it to someone at some point. (sigh)
