The thing about NFP is, you can have sex basically whenever, except during that period of time during fertility. That is usually about 2 to 3 days, unless intercourse took place before ovulation, which could mean about 5 days. Either way, a 5 day period of abstinence should be bearable between a man and woman if they practice chastity with the understanding that sex is fruitful and God's gift of fertility shouldn't be fought against artificially.
