À Écoute des Vents Solaires 1985.

Simply human voices...

David Hykes & The Harmonic Choir.
From the album "Hearing Solar Winds".

Choral overtone chanting. A haunting experience. Hykes and his group have constructed amazing pieces of music based on the natural overtone sound of the human voice. They sing very long vowel sounds, controlling the harmonics by mouth shape, tongue position, diaphragm control, etc.

This album was recorded in a Romanesque church which amplifies the overtones and doubles the sound of each voice.

  • Can i have some of that LSD?

  • Actually the chime was placed there while the album was being recorded.

It signifies the number of the song on the album (whichever album it was from).

The chime was used on all 11 or 12 tracks of the Hearing Solar Winds album (which this song might be from, I can't remember).

  • @Truthexpedition i HATE that Very annoying!
