WWTBAM - David Fite's Run - Part 4

David Fite appeared in the hot seat on January 9-10, 2000 and became the 3rd person to see a $1,000,000 question on the American WWTBAM. What was interesting about his run was that he used a lifeline on his $100 question (like Neil Larrimore - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DYWw3uTgtg) about Duck Duck Goose. He wouldn't touch another lifeline until his $500,000 question.

Another interesting fact from this run: the very first Fastest Finger contestant that Regis introduced on this show was none other than future millionaire Ed Toutant in the first of three appearances on WWTBAM for Ed (his second appearance would be a year later).

This is the final part of David's run showing his $1,000,000 question. There's an edit at 4:25 of the clip because GSN cut to a commercial and I wanted to show Regis talking about David after his run.

It's a pretty easy question. He should have known it. No reason for it to be French. German is out of the question although her the Frank family originally came from there, there was too much anti german sentiment after the war to even consider publishing it in German first. And most importantly it was written in Dutch. Almost always books are published in the language they were written in, first.
