How fast do burms grow? like how long would it be till i needed to build the huge cage? i have red tail boas now and have been thinking about going for a bigger one, and from what i hear burms are really calm snakes and make awesome pets.

@tylergreenwood15 Burms grow rather quickly, but it varies from snake to snake, male to female, captive environment, feeding schedule, all kinds of variables , but in general they grow quickly. Usually by about the third year or so is when you will be looking at getting a large enclosure. You shouldn't need more than a 6X3 enclosure, unless you have an exceptionally large burm, "usually a female", where you might need an 8X3 enclosure.

here is a stupid question cause i know nothin about large pythons but i have tons of colubrids, i know that there is a super dwarf retic but are the any dwarf burms and if so how big do they get and how expensive are they

@connjamm19 Yes, there are dwarf burms, as far as size I believe it's about half to three quarters the size of the average "normal sized" burm. I'm not really sure of their price though, because I've never worked with dwarfs and really never checked into dwarf prices. The best person to ask about dwarf burms would be Bob Clark @ Bobclark.com
