@kleinphi : It's funny that you mentioned how your body denies the banana, because your body knows what's going on. Banana's in the weight lifting world is a very dehydrating fruit, in fact many powerlifters will drink little water and eat LARGE quantities of banana's because of the high potassium in the banana. It causes the body to dehydrate, which allows the veins and muscles in your body to appear more defined. (ergo the point for weight lifters) Funny how our bodies know whats good and bad.

I read a lot about starting to eat after a long fast, then basically ignored it all and never had a problem by starting with whole raw organic grapes, oranges, tangerines, or the like. The only raw fruit I discovered my body can't handle after a long fast is banana. It's funny because after the second or third bite, I literally had to spit out the banana I had in my mouth. I didn't get sick or anything, but my body/mind refused to let me swallow any more banana for about a week after the fast.

I'll keep that in mind. I plan on oj & watermelon for the first couple days then coconut milk and mangos from the back yard. Sounds so delicious!!!!

I do a weekly total so I'm not obsessing about my weight. However I have lost 24lbs to date (in 16 days...not too bad!!)
