@TheDeadpoo1We're never given an answer for the queen (I was assuming it'd be in dlc since it wasn't in the story) or the reavers as far as i know. from what I've learned, the rift worm was some sort of creature of legend that the locust worshiped and was awoken by or after the lightmass bombing in the first game. As for the Brumaks, would you believe something i heard years ago when the first game came out and I was obsessed with getting it was that they were genetically altered from small apes

@MrDeadSpace44, that kinda makes sense, and we also know about the Corpsers too (giant native spiders of Cera). But what about the Queen? Did she sympathize with the locust and help them fight the humans? And what's up with the Brumaks? And was that Giant worm a native creature too? And those reavers that they rode?

@sergeantpepper42 yeah, his review of Gears 3 pretty much leaves that clear. Still can't shake the fact that it's his opinion.

@sergeantpepper42 Resistance 3 was only good because it ripped off Half-life and Halo to an almost plagiaristic degree....
Hard Reset was mediocre... zp even thought it was poor compared to Gears

By the way everyone yahtzee was only being nice to this game because he thought all this boring cover based shooting and obsession with realism was just something he'd have to live with. Now he's played resistance 3, hard reset, and serious sam 3 and he's baffled that people think gears of war is better

Actually it turns out that the facility that he mentions is actually filled with the failed results that become locust. The sires almost predate the pendulum war and as time progressed the experiment (Which was moved to new location under Mt. Kadar) through a series of unexplained events actually results in the locust. There isn't nearly enough evidence, but I'm assuming epic thought we'd be able to work a majority of it out.
