This song is from the Quist album 'Ws - From London E8'. Get it on itunes HERE http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/ws-from-london-e8/id323749483 The track is played on my alternatively tuned Guild acoustic guitar from 1978. I suppose I was quite inspired by Nick Drake/Elliott Smith when I wrote this..The basic tracks were all recorded live and feature Richard Causon on keys, Ivo Neame on clarinet and Kristoffer Sonne on drums
I can hear a little bit of Bryter Layter-esque sound, yep. Very nice. I wonder what it'd be like much faster? I like it - Just wondering. A bit like when George Martin heard "She Loves You" and said something like... "listen lads, do that again, twice as fast, and we've got a hit!" (paraphrasing)

A pleasure. Evokes a whole mish-mash of artistes and tracks previous (while having its very own distinct sound) and they're all good.
Sterling craft Mr Quist and collaborators. Health and strength to you all. Bravo.

Wow, what a wonderful song! Tranquil and dreamy, such a beautiful atmosphere. I can feel the Nick Drake inspiration. :)
Thanks for sharing and wishing you all the very best with your musical career. You're very talented and I look forward to hearing more by you.
