Rep. Lynn Jenkins Says Congress Needs to Face the Fiscal Effects of Each Bill It Passes

I introduced the Debt Accountability Act, which will require Congress to vote and acknowledge how legislation we pass will impact our children's future. As a CPA, a former state treasurer and a mother of two teenagers, I am convinced that we don't need more secrecy; we need accountability now more than ever. At a time when Americans have tightened their belts to make ends meet, Congress must do the same.
