Wanna show the Ibanez artcore AS73. The body is semi hollow and made of soft maple with a set mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard. It has 24 3/4 inch scale with 22 medium-jumbo frets and a pretty flat 12 inch fretboard radius. Two volume and two tone knobs for the Ibanez brand ACH humbuckers. Recorded with a sm 57 clone, played through the boss me 70. Amp is the Crate Palomino V 32 with TAD Tubes and a Celestion Vintage 30 Speaker. Hope u like it

  • Whats with all the patronizing comments?

This dude is quite obviously a good guitarist! 'Off Key'?

Have you ever listened to real jazz, most of the guitar lead work is completely atonal!

  • Amazing tone, man.

  • I've been playing the guitar for about 10 years... with that said. I totally get it. You know exactly what you're going for and it works. Beautifully done sir.

  • Really liked your "stinky" jazz. I loved it! I am a guy who's been playing for a little over a year and this will be my first electric guitar. I love jazz but I want to now if I can get the rockabilly and punk tone with a simple practice amp .

  • it's not off key, he's just using different modes and scales and stuff. he's obviously not off key, any guitarist who has this type of feel is going to be able to stay in key no problem and just play some cool avant garde stuff. he plays too fluently to be a guy who can't stay in key, he's just doing some unique stuff. this is great, unique and well played. nice job man.

  • @fcllee

Bobby Womack wrote it. Called "Breezin"

    Chords: Dmaj7/ bmi7/ emi7/ A7

    improvise all day long with A Mixolydian (D major scale with A as the tonal center) A B C# D E F# G A

I think the reason people think this is out of tune is because the player throws in quite a few blues note bends which makes it like A minor and then he plays in D minor pentatonic. I think he has good chops but some theory lessons are in order. But what do I know?

  • The thing that bothers me more than the tonal issues is that the poster never gives credit to Bobby Womack, the composer of this song "Breezin" and to George Benson who popularized the guitar version of it. You are going to tell me how many frets are on your guitar but omit the source of the song you play? Lame. Traditionally, the composer always gets credit. And if you learned this by listening to Benson then he gets credit too even if your A Mixolydian improvisation needs work.

  • hey! this guy must have some special abilities to play nice in a wrong key:) but on the other hand it sounds and it fits 'somewhere'

    NICE:)

  • This ain't bad at all, and even if it is off key, it still sounds great!
