Hello there.
When I tell people I dont eat any animal products, one of their first questions is ..well what do you eat? So I thought id make a video charting the foods I eat.
Jacket potatoes with baked beans, kidney beans butter beans or curry, aswell as salad.
Coucous, chopped pepper, mushroom , tomatoe and lettuce, with chopped linda macartney sausage.
Linda mcartny sausage rolls with mashed potatoe, carrots broccoli, cauliflower peas , roasted parsnips and potatoes and bisto gravy.
Curry I love to make. I usually use patak sauces mixed with onions, carrots, broccoli cauliflower potatoes, peas. But recently ive been trying to make curries from scratch, so instead of the sauce form a jar I fry mustard and cumin seeds until they pop, then add tomatoes, then which ever spices you want. Add this to some mung daal or split peas which have been soaked over night and then boiled for about an hour, and you have a lovely gujariti style curry. Whilst im on the subject, if you live in leeds, please visist hanasas, which is on north street in the city. Its an amazing vegan restaurant.

Stir fry, sweet and sour is my favourite, but I also like garlic versions. I use tofu with mine, instead of meat, and then what ever vegetables you like in your stir fry.
Pizzas can easily be made vegan by taking the cheese off, and adding an extra topping, which restaurants like pizza express, zizzis and other Italians restaurants are always pleased to do.
Pasta dishes are usually vegan anyway.

Things like milk are replaced by soya, almond, rice milk.
Butter or animal fat spread is replaced by pure or my favourite vitalite. Cholesterol free!
Eggs are replaced by a egg replacement mixture which you can use to make cakes.

When going out for meals all you have to do is ask, hopefully if the chefs take pride in their work they will be pleased to cater for your meat free diet.

  • why dont you think england will go meatfree?

back in 1800's people never thought england would go slave free.

    black rights.

    gay rights.

    womens rights.

and so on and so on.

  • you mean you cant understand english... i hardly have an accent!

  • veganism makes you love food more, you think about the taste alot more and play around with it, ive definetly come to love food and be a better cook now that im vegan.

    cheers for the support.

  • Yeah evolved to be more compassionate and civilized, which is why we make things like child abuse and theft illegal, even though lions kill and eat their own cubs and steal from other lions (and sleep fine at night).

  • 1) Who was talking about cannibalism?

    2) I don't see how.

    3) So? It's better for other animals, our health, and the environment to be vegan. It's a win-for-all move.

    4) Yes we are a part of nature. In nature animals rape, cannibalize, steal, and abuse/kill/eat their own children. Do you think those things should be allowed in our society since those acts are also natural? Why or why not?

    5) We have higher reasoning and compassion. Unlike lions and wolves, we do not need to eat flesh to survive.

  • Rice, seeds, lately chocolate and bananas as well, I'm on the fence about chocolate though

  • i enjoy a nice bucket chicken, mayn.

  • Spot diagnosis -> He is anemic~ (as apparent in the video)

  • @ShroomHeadMario: no, he compared them with animal`s rights.

  • @marcluc1988: but i hate the taste of meat meanwhile!

  • Cheese will give you heartache.

  • eating pizza without cheese is like brushing your teeth without toothpaste, you just dont do it.

  • I recommend chucking three bananas in a blender with 2 cups of water and having that as a meal. You will be surprised how filling it is. Just don't blend it too long so it doesn't oxidize. Proud vegan here for four months.
