Before I stumbled across your work I had no idea words could have such a compelling power to evoke empathy and inspire people. I think the "nose bleed, only backwards" is like taking the word "bleed" and saying it in reverse. It makes that "bee-leed" sound like it would if it were "backwards".

So not literally a backwards nosebleed, but the word bleed, backwards itself.
