Do a search on "clicker training" or "target training". I would go into detail here but the steps are already listed out in detail on other videos and websites.

That cage is too small and needs toys! It would help to join a forum. I recommend tailfeathersnetwork d o t com and post in the lovebirds subforum. You'll also find a lot of good archived information there for new lovebird owners. You can write to me personally for advice on taming lovebirds.

The cage you saw is used only to take "Tiki" from one room to the other. It likes being around us,so we take it along in the smaller cage that you saw. We have a cage three times the size you saw, filled with toys and treats. It 'Tiki' also has a play gym, with plenty of toys. It wants to be around us but, doesn't want anything to do with a finger.We are new to Lovebirds but, not birds in general. We have had parakeets&cockatiels.Thanks for information.
