  • @danielhanger

You picked all the WORST pickups ever made. LMAO.

You know, lower output pickups are brighter, more defined, and much, much thicker.

Oh why do I even bother with someone who probably zero's the mids on their amp and maxes the gain..... children these days.

  • So glad I didn't buy that shit Bugera yet! This is amazing and a REAL company!

  • I bought the exact set up shown here a fee months back, the price was £549 for the head and I think £300 for the cab, the cab price slips my mind slightly. Very happy edith the amp, it sounds incredible but the only thing is (as confirmed by the Blackstar forum) the stock power tubes are pretty naff, mine have already gone so they're going to be replaced very soon.

  • so how much was this amp?

  • @deezool123 how much does did it cost man for the speaker cab and amp head?

  • just bought one of these things, fucking amazing!!!!

  • @12ax7plusEL34 you run a clean boost in front of an amp to tighten it up. believe me, my guitars with actives sound looser (but fuller) than my guitars with passives. you clean boost to make the amp sound much tighter and to drive the tubes even harder than they normally would be. actives do NO SUCH THING. I honestly hate how an amp sounds unless its been boosted, because the low end seems much too flubby, and your amp/cab will sound like it shit the bed once you really crank it

  • @cowboy66757 What's funny is that most people who play metal using passives will stick a boost in front of their amp to emulate the sound of active pickups. The truth is there is no 'better or worse' when it comes to actives vs passives. They're just different tools. If you hear a shit tone coming from either it's not the fault of the tools. It's the person using them.

  • @TheNohcim i have this and a bugera 333xl and they are both amasing

i actually perfer the bugera for rock tones

  • @cowboy66757 People can do what they want, don't dictate to other people what you think they should do... leave people to do what the fuck they wish

  • this guy is a SICK player... 2:01
