No doubt about it--it has to be Richie Furay! I was just listening to We Need Jesus by the Heard, which features him and John Elephante.

@TimJernigan This really sounds like Richie Furay. I cannot be sure since I don't have the original, but you can compare it to most anything he recorded since the mid 70's and you would hear the resemblence (sp?).

Found this album on ITunes as "Country Worship Psalm 5" The artist was Bill Sprouse, Jr. by the sample it is one and the same song. Yes, it is a great version of this wonderful worship song.
