I just bought a sa 8004. It's got 50 hrs now and has changed around in that time. Was good out of the box, then went closed in and flat at about 10 hrs. Then bass settled DEEP with a bloom., Mids at 20 hrs. At 40 got real warm but maintained detail. SOOO, Im gonna guess the highs will do something next even though they are sweet and airy now. Im listening in cd mode with digital off into a tube pre and kt-88 power amp. I didnt know what I was missing until I finally got a decent player....
