I'm sick of this term "empowering".

It is used to celebrate any situation whereby women take advantage of men or exploit their names for success. Unless men benefit somehow. Then it isn't empowering because men are "the enemy".

Mr. Edwards isn't waiting around for Ms.Edwards to die so he can cash in on her book $?! As if that outcome would happen in this gynocracy anyways.

I'm on the right, but at the very LEAST, these women stuck by their husbands as wives should.

I agree with Sonja but would say it a little stronger. Women who stick to their cheating husbands are weak and pathetic creatures! empowering? what a f'ing joke, but hey if a women is stupid enough to stick around for more then enjoy your misery, you have no one to blame but yourself.

I don't know who she thinks the Left are, but no one I know on the Left thinks that the empowerment of women lies in pole dancing. That's libertarian, right-wing third-wave feminism which is despised by feminists on the Left. People on the Left tend to be radicals, not libertarians.

I wish these illiterate conservatives would learn some nuance for a change.
