Yeah, i think this is better too. Mainly because of the battery life and the weight compared to the ASUS and of course, lets not forget about the rear camera that ASUS did not include. Yeah, im definitely gonna get this.

Posted download links to the BIOS at the blog. There's no need for Easy Software Manager.

Oh and can you try on a few games? This obviously isn't meant for gaming, but it would be nice to see how it performs with different games. Also is it possible for you to compare the screen size with letter paper? Its hard for me to visualize how big the screen is. On a different note, wont increasing the CPU speed heat up the processor?

@ImpactByEclipse I did some benchmarks already. It should give an idea to gamers of what the tablet can do. The increased CPU speed will heat up the processor more, and yes it will decrease the battery life. The way Samsung is managing this issue is by giving you different performance modes when plugged to power, and when not plugged to power. When plugged to power you can reach up to 2.3 GHz, without it you may reach up to 1.6 GHz.

@JesseBAndersen I have similar pre-settings on my Samsung laptop. When in Silent Mode, my i5 CPU is limited to use only 50% of total power (1.25 GHz out of 2.50 GHz). It's a good way to save battery, plus I have noticed performance lag with very few programs (iTunes, Media Center) when on Silent Mode.

Just finished watching all the Samsung Series 7 Slate videos. It was awesome! I'm gonna buy it for university which will start fall next year. Hope it will be available in canada by then. Main use: Microsoft OneNote for note talking and occasional movies. Im sure i dont have to ask you for a video of of you running OneNote as it was already mentioned. On the other hand, would this tablet be a better choice over ASUS EEE Pad Slate EP121?

@ImpactByEclipse Each has it's pros and cons. I did consider getting the EP121 (older CPU) and the updated B121 (not available at the time). But at the end of the day I put my dollars on Series 7 Slate because I felt that overall it was going to be the better system.
