  • Sorry for the late response on this. Yet, the foil that was used in this particular video is a genuine 23k gold sandwiched between a thin layer of clear mylar, and a heat activated adhesive layer. Most artificial metallic foils are constructed in a similar fashion. With a little bit of practice many different types of blocking foils can be applied this way...

  • Is there any adhesive involved in this process? If so, how do you apply the adhesive? Or is it simply the heat that binds the gold to the leather?
