I suppose that that is Peter Philipps who found the beauty of this music, avec his famous The Thalis Scholars in 1995 (CDGIM 030). However, I should like to express my best thanks, dear Cesarsalgado1972, since this performance is truly beautiful.
The best wishes,
Jean-François

Thanks Cesar, for your kind reply.
This musician has captured my attention so I searched on Wikipedia: he is an English composer whose liturgical music to Latin texts is considered particularly fine. He took his B.Mus at Cambridge in 1560, and became master of choristers at Ely, before marrying Christopher Tye's daughter in 1565; he subsequently held similar posts at Chester and Westminster Abbey.
I did not know this composer.
It 's really beautiful! thanks!!!!! Mary

I did not know him, either, before I found this. In spite of his short life, Robert White (ca. 1538 - 1574) is said to have been very important between two wonderful generations, those represented by Thomas Tallis (ca. 1505 1585) and William Byrd (ca. 1540 1623)...
