A lot of the times it feels like a boucne but what actually happened couldve been you feeling the shock absorbers so bounce the plane up a bit after the main gear touched down and the second hit was the nose gear touchign down.
many of the times it is mistaken fora double bounce.

The bouncing you felt was probably first the main gear touching the ground, then the nose wheel. I've been tricked by that a lot of times, especially if you're seated in front of the aircraft

@corkaviation Yes it is. I was on the plane, you were not. The ATL-COS route is operated only by the 738 at the time of that flight. It was an earlier 737-800 without winglets, and I was in the third of fourth row.
