@Tm30w06 I know....PC is an awesome actor. However, whenever I saw him on Strong Medicine...I waiting for that "Great state of Georgia" accent to come out!

This was an American epic back in the 80s. I should have been presented first on the big screen at theaters, but the television mini series seemed to be the route to take back then. The epic Lonesome Dove followed about three years later and then the mini series medium all but disappeared. Now all you will see at theaters is crap like rehashed versions of Star Wars and motion picture versions of Transformers and other action figure toys. Maybe one day ...

I'm a young guy (24) and I first saw this on DVD. And now, I watch all 3 parts at least once a year. It's probably stupid to keep watching the same thing, but I'd ratehr see this over and over forever than even 10 seconds of Jersey Shore or the Real Housewives of Whatever.

They just don't make TV movies like this anymore. I think I love it more now, 25 years later, than I did when it was first on.
