Trying out my new/old guitar with a classic tune. Recorded in my living room (wich sounds alot lika a tin can by the way) With a mxl 990 cheap worthless condesor mic.

BTW can someone help me with dating my guitar. From what I've heard it's supposed to be from 55-57.

  • nice song man,i just bought a mxl 990 kit and didnt tried it yet,is it really a cheap sound mic?

    thanks

  • @japasetelagoas I have to take that back. I've found out that it was'nt the mic that was the problem. My livingroom have very unflattering acoustics wich showed alot in this clip... I have used the mxl mic more and more in my studio. But I still think that this mic is hard to use on vocals. I use it mainly for drums and guitars. With the right acoustics and a nice preamp it sounds pretty sweet.
