This is a short video on Joseph McCarthy that I did for A.P. U.S. History last year. The scene with the car chase is awesome.

The war on terror under Bush is McCarthyism on steroids!!! How many people have been accused of being a terrorist in the United States?? What happens when they're accused? They are followed and watched and and their lives are turned upside down! The Patriot Act was unconsitutional and an act of Treason, and further more a form of modern day McCARTHYISM!!!!!

This is exactly what the new bill that would require ISPs to track all websites and internet transactions visited by Americans would do. Authorities wouldn't even need a warrant to access the browsing history of anyone and accuse them of something based solely off of speculation of websites they might have visited.

Witch hunts? right, Hollywood and the State Dept. are bastions of redblooded conservatism, and bald eagles give birth to giraffes. The very idea that there has been a communist connivance is mocked by the Left so they aren't obliged to discuss it. Invalid, you lose. McCarthy was and is right but cannabis-addled mooks dismiss what they've been told to neglect. Problem is these "witch hunts" failed to remove those responsible for shitting in our collective nest...morons.
