This Was Your Life - http://www.chick.com/cartoons/twyl.html
Jacqueline Kassar spent twenty-two years as a nun in an enclosed convent dedicated to adoration, reparation and suffering, trying to appease the wrath of God. She believed it was a nun's calling to be a miniature savior of the world like unto Jesus Christ. Now, on camera, in her apartment into Brooklyn NY, she tells her story with
compassion and care for sincere Catholics who truly live Catholic teaching. The heart to heart message in this interview with former Catholics Richard Bennett and Jacqueline Kassar is truly an evangelistic means to reach sincere Catholics. Please share with your friends, and if possible post a link on your website.

Questions to Catholics are:
What was the first message preached by Peter that resulted in the conversion of 3000 orthodox Jews in Acts 2 and another 5000 in Acts 4?

If the Eucharest teaching was introduced in Acts why weren't the Apostles charged by the rulers for breaking an OT law and what were they charged with?

(Leviticus 7:27 Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
Leviticus 17:10,11 And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people. For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
Leviticus 17:14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.) What were the apostles arrested for?

Since many left Jesus in John 6:66 because of John 6:54, why wasn't there a similar occurrance in Acts 2 and Acts 4 and the rest of the book of Acts?

These were instructions given to the converted Gentiles. Why wasn't the Euchariest doctrine included in them?
Acts 15:20,29 But that we write unto them [converted Gentiles], that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

  • Great interview! Truth will be proclaimed!

  • @182RG God's word is God's word, it doesn't matter if he was referring to the Old Testament. We should never go beyond the scriptures.

Praying to saints is a man made teaching.

  • @Mcstroke57

    >>>He is referring to all scripture.

The only scripture in existence at the time he wrote that was the Jewish Old Testament. FACT. So how could he possibly be referring to anything in the New Testament - some of which hadn't even been written yet?

And if you read the next sentence, Paul tells you exactly what he was saying scripture was sufficient for - "that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." For every good work - as in "faith plus works".

  • @182RG You do know they are visions and alot of things are symbolic.

  • @182RG "You must realize Paul is referring to the OLD Testament only."

He is referring to all scripture.

Like I said so many times...the bible nowhere instructs believers in Christ to pray to anyone other than God. The bible nowhere encourages, or even mentions, believers asking individuals in heaven for their prayers.

Why do you even need to pray for them it makes no sense !

  • Peter warns that heretics will use specifically "Paul's writings" to create heretical doctrine. When Fundamentalists attack the Catholic church and its beliefs, 90% of the time, all the Scripture verses they use to refute us come directly from St. Paul's epistles. ATTENTION FUNDAMNETALISTS...YOU'RE MAKING THIS PROPHECY COME TRUE!!!!!!

  • 2 Peter 3:15-16: "And account that the long suffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you ; also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which some things are hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as hey do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction."

  • @Mcstroke57

I see you noted 2 Peter 1, but you ignore just a few verses further in the same book and chapter: "knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation."

    The legacy of "Bible only":

"Luther separated from the Catholic Church in 1521 In that same year, Munzer broke away and formed the Anabaptists. John Calvin separated in 1536 & formed Calvinism. John Knox formed the Presbyterians 1560. John Smith the Baptists 1609, & Wesley started Methodism 1739."

  • @Mcstroke57

    Part 3

I read each of those verses, and I see NOTHING that instructs us to disregard anything not explicitly condoned in the bible (which didn't exist at the time of the writings anyway).

Each of those verses merely teaches us the validity and accuracy of scripture. Which Catholics do not contest. I can give you several verses that instruct against "scripture only" in no uncertain terms, but I suspect you are aware of them, but choose to disregard them.

  • @Mcstroke57

    >>>DO NOT GO BEYOND WHAT IS WRITTEN ! (1 Corinthians 4:6)

You must realize Paul is referring to the OLD Testament only. Do you think Paul considered his letters scripture? There was no bible then; there was no New Testament then. You know Paul also wrote to hold fast to tradition - BOTH written and word of mouth.

A few HUNDRED years later the Catholic church determined what would subsequently be considered NT scripture and assembled the bible as you know it.
