Hotel Mario-like voice: "If you need instructions, here are the instructions!":

Instructions:
Go to Shooting Gallery and stand in the dark water under the grapple point, then when your health is nearly depleted, right before you die, grapple the point and hold L when you die until you respawn, then you can walk around with a grappling hand, simply press R and look around for a second to reverse the process, also if you lock onto someone while having the grapple on, it will basically grapple their feet, but it won't affect the gameplay on either player...enjoy! discovered by Mochtroid127 and FriarFatBoy007

  • The colors are just used for the second, third and fourth players. It's to distinguish yourself from others

  • er....i was wodering can you change colores on metroid prime trilogy???? wut would i have to do if i can do it....

  • This dosent have wi-fi. :)

  • i have soooo gotta do this >X D

  • Can you do it without WIFI as well?

  • You change colours in Metroid Prime 2's multiplayer the same way you change CHARACTERS in StarFox 64's multiplayer.

You know, I really liked the multiplayer in Metroid Prime 2, it has more depth than some people think. I played it quite a bit, and while it doesn't come close to Hunters' multiplayer, there are some really tactical strategies to use.

This video reminds me how sucky it is that Metroid Prime 3 doesn't have multiplayer.
