  • Great and well done. Why did you not complete it I wonder.if you were unable to do the Kenneth Williams part then I could help you there. If you live in North London and wanted to finish it I could do the K W voice for you.

  • @starrgazer1000 Ha, thanks Pete. I did it mainly as an exercise in miming and editing some time ago.I suppose I could continue and add the Williams bit, only the background wallpaper has changed and I'm 10 years older now!

  • love it, thanks for the effort

  • Why didnt u do it in colour?

  • top job

  • Brilliant! Do some more!

  • @PALINDUP Spike Milligan said it best when he quoted that Hancock shut the door on everybody and finally on himself. Tony Hancock would have been a superb No2 in 'The Prisoner', particularly the episode ; 'The Girl Who Was Death'. He would have offered some welcome light relief and lit up the screen with Patrick McGoohan! Thanks again and 'be seeing you!'

  • @PALINDUP Aswell as the wallpaper, it's a shame you didn't include the suggestion of games by Bill (especially 'Murders'), the couple opposite the street and of course Kenneth Williams who often stole the show. Having watched and listened to this talent and read so many biographies, one can't help coming to the conclusion that Hancock didn't understand his own limitations until the end. Hancock NEEDED his support (especially Sid) but above all he needed Ray and Alan's scripts.

  • @PALINDUP Like badfaith75 I thought I'd hate this but it WAS watchable, eventhough it's the shortest half hour in history. This episode is equaled by the episode 'The Last Bus Home'. In as much that nothing much happens but it's hilarious. I've been a fan for 30 yrs and my 1st Hancock experience was 'The Rebel'. Having been used to lighter comedians such as Formby and Wisdom, my initial impression of him was slightly uncomfortable. Listening and watching the existing episodes changed my mind.

  • Good stuff, I enjoyed it. The lad himself!

  • @starrgazer1000 I'd love to see you swing through the trees then! lol

  • Hi Palindup, brilliant! I am 36 and just finished listening to series 6 of the radio series. I am fascinated by this man, and feel you brought everything to life. As someone who is interested in comedy, he was one of our greatest talents, that got away. Britain's got talent, for you my friend.
