Audio Track from 1975 album Visions of the Emerald Beyond
Eternity's Breath Pt 1 & 2
John Mclaughlin - Guitar
Narada Michael Walden - Drums
Jean-Luc Ponty - Voilin
Ralph Armstrong - Bass Guitar
Gayle Moran - Vocals , Keyboards

Basically mid 70's Hippie Prog Music. But the musicianship is incredible.

Sorry about the trebliness of the track. I pulled it off my album with a USB converter and I can't adjust the default settings. Hope you enjoy.

  • It's amazing that Narada Michael Walden went on to produce a slew of #1 hits for Whitney Houston (R.I.P.). Anyone that can rip like he does here on drums AND produce #1 hits is an amazing talent.

  • I cannot believe just how far most music has degenerated since this was released. Embarrassing, huh. This stuff will live forever.

  • @Nicheuji must have been drunk, it's OK

  • The best music on the planet!!!!!!!!! Two thumbs up!!

  • @chillichomper listen to vinnie colaiuta with jeff beck on this as it blends into cobhams stratus on live at Ronnie scotts....2 geniuses at work

  • "Oh Lord, Supreme, Supreme,

    Let me fulfill Thy will!

    Let me fulfill Thy will!..."

  • Thanks chillichomper for posting this awesome track. I think this is my favourite Mahavishnu Orchestra track -- great guitar riff and singing solo perfectly complemented by Jean Luc Ponty's playing, magestic chorus part, crisp, driving drumming, effective seques around the 3:30 and 6 minute marks.
