A vid I made to show the true origins of many of the key beliefs in the myth of Christianity, which most people seem to be unaware of. It is somewhat ironic that a religion fundamentally opposed to paganism in fact derives most of its key beliefs from pagan ideology... these are just a few. If you like it then I'm glad; if you're offended by it then I'm delighted.

Stupidity will not be tolerated. People may disagree with the content, but anybody posting comments without SOURCES to back up arguments, particularly regarding the existence of Jesus, will have their comments deleted. The Bible is not historical evidence.

PS - UK residents may be familiar with the BBC Stephen Fry show 'QI'. The Christmas special backs up all the points made in the video, and points out even MORE similarities between the two. This video wasn't made using this, but I recently came across it and thought people in the UK (who know the reputation of Stephen Fry) would perhaps enjoy it.
I suggest everyone watches this: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=MSm7YPMQOSo

And because people keep asking, the song is 'Resurrection' by Apocalyptica! :)

  • Beyond that it is the ancient scientific religion which prayed for the well being of Gods creations not only human beings.

Again, the details of Hinduism wantonly kept suppressed by vested interests to the westerners and other people of the world due to the fear that its concept of higher and noble spirituality would get the admiration of the world people immediately even though Hinduism never interested in numbers!

  • @Saraswathiputra

Spare the 'Holier than thou' shit please. Hinduism is a vile and archaic religion with its sickening caste system, especially in rural parts of India, whereas to their credit Islam and Christianity have mostly stopped observing such a system in India.

Also lets not forget that it's an absolute load of crazy nonsensical shit, and you'd have a tough time converting anybody to it. Religious indoctrination only works (for the most part) on children.

  • I think this was a very well laid out video tho i have my agnosticism which is how i see fit to acknowledge what is there but in all other retrospects it is common knowlege no matter how Christians try to deny it that almost every aspect of their faith came from paganism my mother is Wicca and i have been to both church and Wicca ceremonies and i have to say in the end we all agree that there is a god and its a personal relationship with a higher being that we come to forge our beliefs.

  • @JohnnyRocks21 "I am the beginning the middle and the the end of all that is..." -Krishna (avatara of Vishnu)

  • No matter what the truth is nothing but the truth! & it's all I could ever want.

    1 Corinthians 13:4-8

New International Version (NIV) Written by Apostle Paul

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres

  • You do realize that the cult of Mithras came into prominence AFTER Christianity started....

  • @duddy11 Uh, you do know that every other person who worships other gods thinks that THEIR god is the one true god too?

  • @kub73158

    Reducto ad absurdum, amen!

  • Thank you for this video!

  • @jonny616 I find it gloriously ironic that YOU, in your comments sound so "Holier than though". Athiests are the firmest "believers" and absolutists. hahahahhahah... im laughing my devilish ass off at you.

  • What's funny is that all these "pagan" beliefs that are ridiculed now, actually validated long ago the need of humanity for a savior.
