Apple iPad Teaser - Dining Room Table Reviews

UPDATE: On April 14 2010, Apple has announced that shipments of the iPad outside of the United States will be DELAYED until the end of May, with pre-orders beginning no earlier than May 10.

This first generation iPad will no doubt be replaced by a better model to be announced most likely in January of 2011. Because of this, even if I do get an iPad at the end of May, by the time the review is posted, we'll already be well into the month of June.

Is it really worth it spending so much time producing a review for a product that will be obsolete in six months?

Haven't used one yet. But I do own three tablet PCs, each one using different touch technology, different screen sizes, and completely different behaviours.

I should be good at evaluating the iPad's potential.

Will I become another PC convert? That's very doubtful. But I do believe I can give this product a fair review. I'm already aware that it's NOT a machine designed for top-level computer geeks. It's designed for everyday non-techie folks who prefer technology that doesn't get in the way of their lives.

But will it deliver? Stay tuned!
