Everyone has a hero....Dale Earnhardt was mine. I have a whole room in my house dedicated to him. Everytime I watch a video of him, my eyes tear up. In my opinion, Dale made Nascar what it is today.

i hate to say JR is a good racer but NOBODY will ever be as good as his daddy but i truely think they should retire the black 3 but if anyone ever gets in it it should so be an earnheart

dale jr wanted somethin he never earned sr was the greatest racer ever teresa shouldn have offered jr nothin jr would never have been a racer if not for his father jr is not much of a racer at all all he is is a baby she offered to sell it to him but he wanted it for free well nothin in life is free buddy rip dale you were the greatest racer ever.

After Dale Sr. died Teresa got the company. When Dale Jr.'s contract was up for renewal, she wouldn't give him what he wanted to extend his contract. He wanted majority ownership of his car (not the whole company).She said NO and that is why Dale Jr left the company his dad started for the family name to continue for many generations in NASCAR.

You either loved him or loved to hate him. I loved him. I was only 3 during his rookie year. People laughed with this little 3 yr old GIRL wanting to watch him race. I gave birth to my son when he won the Daytona 500 and birth to my daughter the day he died. Both kids are Earnhardt fans. Its a shame Teresa did what she did with DEI.

Shame what Teresa did to DEI...i cant believe hes gone...heck i was only 4 when he died but i still know that he was an all american hero...
