This is the background movie of a space combat RTS called "Haegemonia: The Solon Heritage" (Hegemonia in North America). Sort of an ingame rolling demo, if you will.
Made by the same developers as the Imperium Galactica series (Digital Reality, from Hungary), this is an expansive, intense, and graphically beautiful RTS that gives Homeworld a run for its money.
Recorded with fraps.

its too bad they went bankrupt before they can do the Solon Heritage Campaign story, they had to launch it as it was with just skirmish and multiplayer. an i think what finished the company off was that ALOT of copies didnt have the CD key with it, i baught it twice an there was no CD key i couldent play. had to find one online luckily found it. so they had to recall many of them games just cause they failed to put the Booklet with the CD key in the box an then that was the end of them.

@tippa2kk you get that error due to you are using windows vista (set sounds to 0 and you won't crash anymore)

Anybody out there know what function the Wormhole Jump Signalizer probe have? It appears to be useless to me.

@Anoleis That probe cannot be detected on sensors. Send it to the system of your choice, then deploy it. Then select the ships you want, and order them to "Jump to Probe." They will after a short delay appear in the system the Signaler probe entered, without using the Wormhole. However, because this form of transit is less safe, the ships who warp through will be damaged quite a bit (and will be randomly placed around the target system). It is best reserved for Cruisers or Battleships.

@Anoleis If you haven't done this already, get the Solon Heritage expansion pack. The original's gameplay is largely a race to get the most battleships with the most upgrades. The expansion pack rebalances the game and makes the other ship classes far more important, as well as making the other factions far more unique.
