  • @terrytibs1977 Gay had a different meaning then, it meant 'happy'. It made me chuckle though as well lol :-D

  • Shopping in the bullring centre is a GAY adventure. Hilarious.

  • Classic Stuff..thanks for posting

  • Im a video editor and Id like to say to anyone out there if you have footage like this please contact me as I would love to put something together to celebrate such great history rather then depress our heratage. We have great stuff from the 1900s from the 60s to today.Lets celebrate it and use it to bring people in rather then depress people. We have a great history..lets continue that..

  • I really miss the old Bullring, it used to be great up there in the 90s. It might have been a bit tatty and rundown, but it had far more character than what replaced it.

  • Gosh your car would be taken at gun point now and stored on a ferry to poland..wish we could turn things back..just to when the rott started to come in ..opps imean set in

  • Its a shame the corporations have taken over and the market Traders have been pushed to the side. They were the heart and soul of the Bull Ring and a big part of Brums History,They got pushed out onto Edgebaston Street and some have closed do to high rents for there stall. Now it looks like they are getting pushed out again due to the south side Regeneration project. The wholesale market is due to be pulled down aswell.Market traders fought hard 20 years ago when they saw this coming.

  • B.ham full of shite..Sellfridges,strange building with dustbin lids stuck to the outside, dont know whats worse old days or now..

  • That was Richard Baker doing the commentary. Just out of interest, what year was this? It looks like very early '60s.

  • @kimandaggie that silver disc building is a landmark. It is one broad thing I can see on the map and say, hey that's Birmingham!
