@TheApplePoint Well, back then his seat was pretty much secured but sometimes we all have to understand what Petter has been going through in 2010. He has had no seat at all and after a lot of difficulties looking for sponsors, I think I understand why he shed the tears... Because if I was him, I would've probably done the same.

No... So happy for a 2nd Place??? In 2005 he cried for 2nd place, but not happy tears!!!!! Wow, I love solberg but this scene is ashaming for him! Once Time that reation was only for the WRC Title...

@greenh I´ve read a story at some german magazine, including comments of Subaru WRC people. The basic comment was, that from one test/service to an other, Petter always changes so many settings, the engineers can´t even work out the collected data, as Petter does´nt give the team a chance to improove or work out some proper fixings for the cars problems.
A result was (or better IS), you need to push to the absolut limit all the time - where the chance is also bigger to fail, like you also said.

@dtmfan I don't think that's what it was, I think Subaru didn't have it together like Citreon did. Count how many times Petter had to retire just due to mechanical failure.

@greenh Maybe as he does not have to develop the car and fucks up with it, like he did at Subaru...
I like him as a driver, espacially, as it would have been easy, to quit rallying after Subaru dropped the team, but he went fighting :)
But sorry - Petter is no engineer and should keep his fingers at the steering.

Amazing!!! good to see Petter still fighting. Also amazing that he is doing better in a privateer team that the last couple seasons at Subaru.
