Kates POV.

I looked at her in astonishment. Sure, thats what shes always wanted. But COME ON. Seriously, it wont happen. She doesnt have the guts to be on stage in front of people.
"Jenna, you cant do this." I waited for her to say something back. Nothing. Whoa.
"I mean, I know you want this. But you need to KNOW people, or be a somebody."
god. I wish I could just say it straight out. ITS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Ever. But I cant. It would shatter her.

Jennas POV.

"what? KNOW people, do I have to? Like, really? Cos what difference would it make?"
"singing and posting a couple of videos on you tube wont do anything!" Kate said.

Know people? You dont have to be famous to get famous. You dont have to be a somebody to get noticed. Do what you do best, get out there, and people will notice.

"Kate. Jenna. Stop. Come on, its a dream. If you work hard enough youll get there."

"pssssh. My dreams achievable."

KATES DREAM? Achievable. Whatever. She wants to be a actress. Like that would ever happen. I looked at my feet. Way to shoot somebody down.

"Jenna?"
"Lia?"
"Your awesome. I know you can do it. Just get on stage on Friday and I swear, it will come to you. Your born to do this, OK?"
"whatever. Your going to be there, right? Kate wont be if its her on her own. Unless you-know-who turns up."

you-know-who is an unmentionable name around kate. Say the name Harry, and she goes all googly eyed as if the person in question was Nick Jonas. God, talking to myself in my thoughts. I need a dairy. Lia laughed. That put a smile on my face. We were clear. Kate had disappeared downstairs. Lia's laugh had disappeared just like kate. "What?" i looked at her worryingly.

"I cant. Dance Finals."
"oh," I felt my smile fade. "thats OK. I understand. You show them how its done. This time next year, youll be in the cast of Fame." I winked at her. My little dance star of the year. Lia was the most amazing dancer I ever saw. She could blow anybody away with her moves in the space of a minute. I know shes gonna go far.

"Im sorry, but it'll get taped, ill watch it over! Anyways, better go find kate."
"JOY. Im really not in the mood for one of kates moods right now if you know what I think I feel about her moods." Lias face screwed up with confusion. "dont worry, I didnt really get that myself." i told her, with a grin on my face.

Our laughs filled the air and Kate appeared at the bottom on the stairs.
"would you two hurry up and come down here?!"


KATES POV.
This was the sort of things we did at weekends, sat in each others houses watching our favourite movies. Tonight, it was my turn to pick, so first up was Juno. I waited for Jenna's tears the whole way through. She was so emotional, its unbelievable. "Jenna, why do you cry at stuff so much?" I asked. I didnt expect an answer. She didnt know herself, that wouldnt have changed since last week.

"Actually, I know now." It was like Jen could read minds sometimes. it was freaky.
"You see, movies are like books. Or music." my right eyebrow arched perfectly, and Lia laughed. "And how does that one work, Jen?" lia asked. She was the only one to take it all in. "Well, it can be like DANCE as well. Its an art. Its all beautiful and perfect and right. It tells a story, fictional or not, and its meant to be amazing, its meant to make people feel emotions. Thats WHY they are made. I think."

Whoa. We all sat silently after Jenna's speech. She really said things to your heart sometimes.
