Filming has already begun and knowing the film industry, they will now sail along at due course. So for us, if there is one thing were people can hit them and they will get the message it's the thing that Hollywood's religion: Their Wallets!

However, a simple boycott text petition would not do for us. It's one thing when a bunch of random anonymous people on the internet posts on some back end fan forum that they will not see the movie. It's another thing entirely when someone has a real name and face attached to that and it's publicized on the internet and the news.

The Last Airbender Video Boycott, is quite simply all of you guys and a YouTube page. I have a candid formal Boycotting statement that people will record them self's reading; revealing their race, first name and location. The statement declares that they will not see the movie when it hits theaters next year and thus they have lost money from one of their potential customers. These videos will then be send to me were I will upload them to our new boycott YouTube page debuting this Friday.

Over time, more and more videos will be up on our page. We will also link to other videos such as presentations, rants and other things on video about the Avatar World and how bad Paramount is screwing up the film.

When enough videos are collected, I will take them and edit them together into one rapid-fire viral video that will be sent to my friends who work in national newspapers and TV news channels.

The whole point of this project is to communicate to Paramount, M. Night and others working on the film that the fans of the Avatar show are a very diverse multi-racial and multi-cultural community. And that by offending this community, they have lost ticket sales from this group in return.

  • @jmlew Very well said. The argument of actors playing any race only ever applies to white actors. For any minority to portray a white character would be considered controversial, and would be talked about at the very least. I'm as white as they come, but I don't think you have to be a minority to find this practice disgusting, disrespectful, and blatantly racist. I've loved AtLA since the series began, and was really looking forward to the film. Very disappointing.

  • @ItachiUchiha4Lifez And also the nationality of all of the characters in Avatar are made up. For example: Aang is not a "Shaolin Monk" he is and always will be an Air Nomad in the Avatar story. Now I'm not saying the movie didn't suck, but to say it was racist is pretty stupid and ignorant.

  • @7mocool can you show me a Native american actor with darkskin young enough to play the role in hollywood? No. They dont have to be the stapled race, just close enough. They could have just casted black people for Sokka and Kitara it would have been the easiest for them but they chose not to..

  • you realize how casting is right? Not every race + attribute is avilible.

  • Man I can't wait for The Last Airbender 2, I wonder how much stupid drama will be started then and all of it for a CHILDREN'S MOVIE. To say that Asians can only play the roles and any other race can't because the series was inspired by Asian culture is RACIST. For god's sake M. Night Shyamalan is Asian himself (yes people from India are in fact from southeast Asia). It wouldn't have been such a big deal if people who made the boycott videos didn't have the same ignorant and racist thoughts.

  • @THESWAMPWOOKIE I meant people of the water tribe. The point is that the eye colour shows which nation they belong to, it doesn't have anything to do with race. Tell me this, if the water tribe are white, why do they have the darkest skins of the four nations? Earthbenders can have any colour in the earth spectrum, like green or brown. The point is you wouldn't see any earthbenders with blue eyes. As for aang, he has grey eyes, much like fog would be, or some other vapourous substance.

  • @fowad27 EPIC FAIL!!!! Sokka is not a bender yet his eyes are blue, earthbenders also have green eyes and azula has brown eyes, not orange or yellow! also you will see aang depicted with blue eyes even when not in avatar state in many pictures. thats the facts! they cant be denied!!!!

  • @Imhotep397 He isn't half asian. M Night Shyamalan never said that he was half asian. In fact, NO ONE has come forward to talk about his ethnicity. All shyamalan has said about ringer is that he has a "mixed feel" which doesn't mean he is actually mixed.

  • @THESWAMPWOOKIE who are the three main characters? Aang has brown eyes. Katara and sokka have the darkest skin of all the people in the avatar world. they have blue eyes because they're waterbenders, just like earthbenders only have brown eyes, and firebenders only have orange and yellow eyes.

  • YOU STUPID SHIT HEAD!!!! THE THREE MAIN CHARACTERS IN THE CARTOON HAVE BLUE EYES!!!!!!!! WHAT FREAKING ASAIN HAS BLUE EYES? NONE OF THEM!!! DUMMY!!!!

  • Society needs to grow up.......who cares......its just a movie.
