You can either wire it to a keyed source of power on the car, so that it turns on and off with the car. Or, you can bypass that and turn it on and off manually.

@jfkdidmymom This one doesn't do tuning, it's just the digital gauge and driving coach. Bullydog claims you can improve fuel economy by up to 37% by just changing driving habits.

I have a question man? If the bullydog plugs n the OBD2 port,what if i put a chip on my truck and want to change the chip tune but it plugs in my OBD2 port also? Would i be able to unplug the bullydog and it not mess with my original settings on it?
