John Sparry plays Blue Monk

This version of "Blue Monk" was recorded at The Harp Hotel, Albrighton, Shropshire, England on Tuesday, June 3rd. 2008 by John Sparry's Heath Coldfield Quintet.
(The name was derived from Wall Heath where John hails from and Sutton Coldfield where his original drummer came from!)
With the backing of a driving rhythm section John treated us to excellent vibes playing as well as regaling us with the history of the numbers they played and other anecdotes.
Once again an excellent gig at the Harp where sessions are held every Sunday lunchtime and Tuesday evening.
