After building a lot of LPE's,it occured to me that for a 6-cylinder 1-stroke LPE, a W6 configuration has to be superior to a V6. The reasons are sturdyness and simplicity of the crankshaft, and the inherent balance that a 2-cylinder bank has. So I have been building a few of them, and as it turns out it is surprisingly tricky to get it right. Perhaps that is also a reason that most of the real car manufacturers shy away from it :-)
This is a first of two designs I am more or less content with. It is camless and uses a slider approach to operating the switches (see the other W6 for an alternative). It runs quite allright but has a tendency to self-destruct at high RPMs.
I have mounted this engine 'upside down'. For some reason this stresses even more the fact that it is more or less equivalent to a 2x3 cylinder radial configuration.

  • Where can i buy this tipe of lego in brazil man?

  • @o0StupidVideos0o Hehe sorry but I am not an expert on the brazilian market for toys :-) I would suggest to try bricklink!

  • @HomeSkillet sure, that is what I use for the internals of the switches and cylinders. Still would not use it for the other parts, though, it is still messy (although not as messy as oil, indeed)

  • @legofreak search for pneumatic car...

  • will someone make an engine and put some wheels on it ??? I would love to see that
