@TSW1Transformers Well, I personally have found G1 to be everything that you've described. I don't mean that it's bad considering that the Unicron Trilogy, RID, and Beast Machines are far worse, I'm just saying that it's just goddamn silly most of the time. If the TFs are supposed to be "in disguise", then why are they in robot mode most of the time? And what right does a single judge of a small city have in deciding that a race of alien robots has to leave a planet?

G1 had great stories with serious plots. All the series that have followed have been sillier, geared more towards younger children, in other words, it was dumbed down. And the story lines and dialogue were ridiculous most of the time. That's my opinion anyway.
