Russian-speaking community of the Waterloo Region took a bus tour to Toronto where museums and facilities participated in the city's open door day.
On arriving to the CN tower 3 groups marched swiftly to the CBC Centre at Front Street.
On the show were first portable TV sets manufactured as early as 1959. Some of the portable radios of yesteryears could fit a pocket.
Brave souls who stood an hour long line saw the radio studios. The TV studios tour included walking through the service halls and seeing computerized lights.
After a bring-your-own-lunch break our courageous explorers advanced to the modest 1889 house of Edward Gallow, Esq. It featured antique furniture and stained window glass.
Despite the fatigue and hot weather, it was a pleasure to see new places.
