I agree, it was the saddest anime I've ever seen, and yet it was also one of the most beautiful.. The story is a lot deeper than most other anime. Good job on the amv by the way! It was great

@Danny4NL Clannad actually isn't totally complete (read the VN =3) but you're right, the way they do it makes it seem complete and all the major info they missed (Kyou/Ryou's Arc, Tomoyo's Arc) was put into OVAs... They just missed smaller things (some Arcs have a different ending)

AIR (only read a bit of VN, since I can't find all ages) doesn't seem to explain things as well in the anime, but it lets u draw ur own end. Plus, AIR inspired many of my manga ideas~

I wonder how Rewrite will be?

Well, AIR has +1 point at that, but -1 point at the plot. ;)

Since there's a lot of information missing and Clannad is complete.

With a beautiful love story, friendship etc etc. ;)

@Danny4NL Lol... well, I am VERY angel-obsessed, so I guess I'm a little biased... I also very much love TRC's 'dead can't be revived', so I hate when they come back to life... (so by those, already: AIR +1 point, CLANNAD -1 point)And I do still love CLANNAD and Kanon (They're in my top 5~ )

I just like AIR the best. CLANNAD made me cry way more than AIR, tho, I'll give it credit for that... lol

Anyways, it's just my opinion ^^ Everyone's is different...

Well, according to MyAnimeList, Clannad has a score of 8.60 and the afterstory has: 9.12.

And AIR has a rating of 7.85.

AIRs rating is still good, but not as good as Clannad.

So I think you're one of the few who think AIR's better. ;)

@Danny4NL True, but they both still came back to life randomly (I spazzed XD) There's other ways they culd've made a 'good ending' w/o that. and AIR does miss parts. That's what the AIR in Summer OVAs are for. Also, the anime didn't do quite that great a job of explaining, but I still think it's the best... But I hate when ppl come back to life/r healed for no reason... It's impossible. Reincarnation, however, has nvr been disproven. I'm not saying I hate Kanon/CLANNAD, only their ending lol

I've watched them all, but AIR just feels like it misses 5 episodes.

It has a weird ending, compared to Kanon and Clannad.

But don't forget that Nagisa didn't just wake up, Tomoya had to go through with Ushio first, else Nagisa wouldn't have come back. ;)

@Danny4NL Ik I'm saying this 6 months later, but I actually think CLANNAD is more like Kanon than AIR... There are many similarities between Kanon and CLANNAD, but not as many with Air. Watch them all and you'll see what I mean ^^ Also, Air is the only anime of the 3 where the dead pretty much stay dead. There's reincarnation, but that's different... Just Imagine your mom died, then one day she just woke up and was alive again... nvr gonna happen. Reincarnated into ur daughter? More likely lol
