Contra Hard Corps Review

My second review that I kept putting off for a while. I decided not to give this one a score b/c the video should be informative enough to help you decide if you want to play it or not. I also decided to show a little bit of the PAL and JP versions of the game. Enjoy!

for some reason i cant run and shoot at the same time, it must be my emulator right?

No there's a button that changes your preference with shooting. I think it's X, Y, or Z, so try pressing whatever those buttons are assign to on your emulator.

I mentioned in the video that the USA version has no cheat codes, at least not that I know of. Only the Japanese version has codes.

In my opinion US versions is really HARDCORE and is nearly impossible to beat. JAP version is better for me. I have problems with finishing the game even in Jap version. Why do they dicede to remove the three hit points rule , cheat codes is beyond me. I am ok with removing cheat codes, but three hit points rule I think is part of the original balance of the game, in us version this looks like a joke. I am average gamer not bad , not good, but I find US version nearly impossible to beat.

oh why the hell did they feel the need to alter the PAL version? I mean really? Probo-tector what the hells that mean? protection from haveing an alien "Probe" up your anus? :-)
