  • @drbleep It is OK as I am waiting for a replacement from you. I emailed you last week about it and I was assured that a replacement was on the way.

  • @klaninga That's no good! email me and I'll send another out to you.

  • when is neon indians video for this going to be up?

  • @Gdxgz I received mine with the right blue screw terminal loose. It fell out while I was trying to attach one of the pots to it. After reseating it I was able to get it to function although I have to hold it in place with my finger to use it.

  • Ok, I've got the right and middle oscillators to work, but there is absolutely nothing coming from the left one. I think they sent me a broken product.

  • the photo cell is the little "chip" that he hooks into the middle socket at the beginning (also in diff configs throughout the demo). If I'm not mistaken, the more light the more interference. The light is disrupting the signal - or changing the pitch in this case.

  • @Ustillhavefriends a blog. i think you'll have to buy some photocells which i'm not even entirely sure what they are. i did find this video showing it's video output after an unknown amount of manipulation (search on youtube "testing the PAL 198X with a modular synth" and there's a 'commercial' for the PAL198X on vimeo if you share for Neon Indian. let me know if you find anything informative about this instrument/gadget !

  • @syntheticbliss68 WHERE DID U HEAR THAT IT CAN BE HOOKED UP TO A TV?
